  RedHat 7 Installation Help
Posted by: libreproject48 - 10-05-2016, 01:31 PM - Forum: Questions - No Replies

I have been assigned a project to install LibrePlan on a RedHat 7 VM. I have successfully installed TomCat and Java requirements, but am having difficulty actually finding/installing LibrePlan via yum. I have installed libreplan-1.4.1-1.1.noarch.rpm, ran a yum search libreplan, and get a result for "libreplan.noarch". However, when i run yum install, all I get is "Nothing To Do".

Do any guides or install manuals exist for redhat? I know the majority of installations for libre seem to be on Ubuntu, but I have been requested to use RedHat if all possible.

Thanks in advance for any and all assistance!

Hello  Smile

I have a small problem with the canvas of the timesheets.

How to bring up a line to enter the "project" before the line "task"?

It would be more pleasant when each resource is working on several projects during the same day.

Thank you for your help  Wink

  Cost Categories and Bound Users
Posted by: jaime.sps - 09-16-2016, 01:02 AM - Forum: Questions - No Replies

I am trying to edit/assign a cost category to a bound user from their personal timesheet.

I currently have the bound user assigned to a cost category and that cost category is assigned to an hours type.

However when the user tracks time from their personal timesheet the hours type is defaulted to a 'standard' hours type that was created but is not currently assigned to any cost categories.

Any info that anyone can share would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

Posted by: valderson - 09-14-2016, 05:11 PM - Forum: Questions - Replies (1)

Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS
java version "1.7.0_111"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.6.7) (7u111-2.6.7-0ubuntu0.14.04.3)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.111-b01, mixed mode)

        validationQuery="Select 1" />

my problem is that after libreplan is started in tomcat after some time it will not connect to the database and I get the following error. I cannot use the app again until I restart tomcat. I have scoured the interned and tried all types recommendations and nothing changes it.

Suddenly have 404 when accessing LibrePlan
Posted by: markandersen - 08-10-2016, 03:20 PM - Forum: Questions - Replies (1)

We have LibrePlan installed on Ubuntu, on an Amazon EC2 instance.

Yesterday, I was adding some tasks to a project in our installiation of LibrePlan. Everything was working fine, as it has since we installed several months ago, but then it started to get really slow. Finally, it stopped responding. Today, I'm getting a 404 error, with the message, "The requested resource is not available." Tomcat is running (I have tried stopping and starting it), and our instance appears to be responding correctly, otherwise. I tried rebooting the instance, as well, to no avail. I also accessed the Postgres database directly, through pgAdmin, and it is responding to queries. What processes run as part of LibrePlan? What should I be looking for?
