  install dependency problem in Fedora
Posted by: martink - 07-30-2016, 10:26 AM - Forum: Questions - No Replies

Hi,

I'm trying to install the 1.4.1-1.1 rpm on Fedora 24. Although CutyCapt is installed, it complains that "nothing provides cutycapt". Is there a workaround or will I have to install cutycapt from source?

Thank you

  Install - Dependency problems
Posted by: nerdnum - 07-19-2016, 09:40 AM - Forum: Questions - No Replies

Hi

I want to try out libreplan, but I am struggling with the installaiton on an Ubuntu server.

I am running:
Description:    Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS
Release:        14.04
Codename:       trusty

Finall was abll to add the PPA by running:

"sudo -E add-apt-repository ppa:libreplan/ppa"

I have also run "sudo apt-get update" which ran successfully.

If I then run "sudo apt-get install libreplan", I get the following message:

The following packages have unmet dependencies.

libreplan : Depends: cutycapt but it is not going to be installed
             Depends: xvfb
Depends: dbconfig-common but it is not going to be installed
Depends: tomcat6 but it is not going to be installed
Depends: default-jre-headless but it is not going to be installed or
default-jre but it is not going to be installed
             Depends: libpg-java
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

I tried to install cutycapt manually, but then run into more dependency problems. I would reallly appreciate if someone can give me some guidance on how to get it installed.

Thanks
Nerdnum

  Installing libreplan
Posted by: craigp - 06-30-2016, 03:28 PM - Forum: Questions - Replies (2)

Hello. i am having problems installing libreplan.

I have so far tried installing on Ubuntu and debain using the instructions on the libreplan website.
I think half of my problem in Ubuntu is the repository is not accessible.
Is there any up to date instructions from start to finish or maybe a pre installed virtual machine to download?

thanks

  Reverse proxy configuration
Posted by: skeeter - 06-29-2016, 11:52 AM - Forum: Questions - Replies (1)

My server open to the 'Net runs Apache and I'd like to reverse proxy to the server with LibrePlan.  However, LibrePlan doesn't let me log in.  I can see the site.  When I enter name and pw, hitting the "log in" button just clears the name and pw.

Background facts:
* Browser: tried firefox, chrome
* apache2 setup:

Code:
        ProxyRequests Off
        ProxyPreserveHost On
        ProxyPass        "/libreplan" "http://{other machine local IP}:{port}/libreplan/"
        ProxyPassReverse "/libreplan" "http://{other machine local IP}:{port}/libreplan/"

Tips welcome, I'd like to get away from my spreadsheet!

  Adding a Customer
Posted by: Reynauld - 06-28-2016, 10:29 AM - Forum: Questions - No Replies

Hi All

How do you add customers to LibrePlan?

Cheers

And I answer my own question:

When you add a "company" you indicate that it is a client, and it becomes available as a customer.  Blush

Edit: This naming or logic doesn't seem correct. If I'm wrong, please would someone (maybe a developer) correct me.

  Error de instalación
Posted by: jmerino - 06-08-2016, 10:04 AM - Forum: Questions - No Replies

Buenos días,
Estoy intentando instalar el programa en ubuntu 12.1tal y como viene indicado en esta url http://www.libreplan.com/download/ y me salen numerosos errores:
al introducir:
**sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreplan/ppa**
Este paso sale todo ok

**sudo apt-get update**
aparace el mensaje (despues de tener otros tantos errores al no encontras paquetes) algunos archivos de índice fallaron al descargar, se han ignorado, o se han utilizados unos antiguos en su lugar.

**sudo apt-get install libreplan**
No se ha podido localizar el paquete libreplan

y por consiguiente no me permite instalar el programa.
Agradecería que me indicaran si estoy haciendo algo mal o existe otra manera de instalarlo.

Gracias

  Progress Assigments on tasks
Posted by: Gehanmj - 06-07-2016, 05:54 AM - Forum: Questions - No Replies

Is there any way a bound user entering his time sheets in the "Personal timesheet" window can enter the progress assignment on tasks ?
Currently the progress assignment has to be done on the project scheduling window.  (By right clicking on the task and selecting progress assignment)

  EVM Calculations

I noticed that the Earned value figures in Libreplan shown in the dashboard view is in hours. Usually figures such as CV, EAC is in money terms. Can you please confirm whether I can get these figures in US $ etc? Is there some setting which I need to set?
